We recommend the Dispatch headset cap for riders who want a small cockpit detail and have a compatible 1 1/8-inch steerer tube. The title uses carbon-fiber language, but Dispatch's specification identifies the cap as 6061 aluminum. The selected Add bolt: Yes option was listed at $23.98 on October 30. Check the dimensions, bolt requirements, and the color selection on the live product page before ordering; this is a finish choice, not a riding-performance upgrade.
Where it fits.
What stands out
- Dispatch lists a 1 1/8-inch steerer-tube fit and 1 1/4-inch (32 mm) cap width, giving buyers two concrete dimensions to check.
- The specification identifies a glossy 6061 aluminum cap, so the material is clearer than the product title alone suggests.
- The Add bolt: Yes option gives shoppers an explicit bolt-included choice.
Before you buy
- The title says Carbon Fiber, but Dispatch specifies 6061 aluminum; do not buy it expecting carbon-fiber construction.
- The page mentions 11 colors, while the Shopify variant record exposes bolt inclusion only. Confirm the cap color shown and selected on the live product page.
- The listed steerer size does not establish compatibility with every fork, headset, or integrated cockpit; check the interface and bolt requirements for your bike.
- This is primarily a styling detail. The product listing makes no ride-quality or performance claim.

Choose it for the cockpit detail
The Dispatch cap is a small visual change for a compatible bike. We would consider it when replacing a worn or missing top cap, or when a colored detail suits the rest of the cockpit. Its product page presents the item as an easy style update; it does not provide evidence of a change to handling or ride quality.
Match the steerer and bolt
Dispatch says the cap is designed for 1 1/8-inch steerer tubes and measures 1 1/4 inches (32 mm) across. Check those details against your fork and headset before ordering. The selected Add bolt: Yes option was variant 45919754486002; the product page does not document compatibility with every fork, stem, or integrated cockpit, so confirm the required bolt and interface for your bike.
Read the material specification carefully
Although the product title says Carbon Fiber, the specification calls the cap 6061 aluminum. The woven pattern in the gallery describes its appearance, not proof of carbon-fiber construction. If you specifically need a cap made from carbon fiber, this listing does not establish that material.
Confirm color and price at the storefront
The product description says 11 colors are available, but the Shopify variant feed records only the Add bolt choice. Confirm the actual color selection on the page before ordering. On October 30, 2026, the US storefront showed Add bolt: Yes at $23.98 USD and an Add to cart control. The owner-supplied partner record lists code SEBASTIANBASSOL for 10% off. No after-code price is claimed.
